Stephen Ministry

Christ The King is part of a world-wide network of Stephen Ministry congregations, where specially trained Stephen Leaders help Stephen Ministers become more effective friends for people going through difficult times. Stephen Ministers are assigned to one-on-one caring relationships with people inside and outside our congregation. They meet typically for one hour a week with their care receivers, offering a listening ear and a supportive presence. Stephen Ministers observe strict confidentiality about their caring relationships, and participate in regular supervision sessions.
