Our Core Values

All of us have certain core values -- deeply held beliefs that affect how we think and act. Here at Christ The King, we've identified five core values that help explain who we are as a church:

Acceptance. We believe God calls us to welcome people into God's Church, no matter who they are or where they are on their spiritual journey.

Healing. We believe God calls us to be a channel of healing, through which broken people can find health and wholeness in Christ.

Transformation. We believe God calls us to help people grow more like Christ each day, by participating in Christian education, worship, prayer and practice.

Community. We believe God calls us into Christian community -- in one-on-one relationships, in small groups, and as an entire congregation -- because Christ-centered community is where healing and transformation happen and are celebrated.

Stewardship. We believe God calls us -- as individuals and as a church -- to be responsible stewards of the spiritual and material gifts God has given us, by nurturing those gifts and by employing them in meaningful ministry.
